About the role
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of multiple strategic launch initiatives for the Prolaris product line, with full accountability for timelines, deliverables, budgets, and outcomes.
- Define and approve launch strategies, KPIs, and post-launch measurement frameworks to ensure tangible business impact.
- Proactively identify growth opportunities, competitive threats, and market trends, and translate these into actionable strategic plans.
- Provide executive-level updates on launch readiness, market conditions, and performance metrics.
- Serve as the primary leadership point for urologist and radiation oncologist targeted launches, ensuring all functions are aligned to a unified vision.
- Direct and motivate cross-functional teams, driving accountability and ensuring milestones are met without delays.
- Influence senior stakeholders to secure resources, remove barriers, and optimize decision-making.
- Establish governance processes for launch readiness, risk management, and contingency planning.
- Leverage advanced market research, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to refine and differentiate launch strategies.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager – Prolaris to ensure alignment with brand positioning and ongoing market priorities.
- Anticipate competitive responses and design preemptive counterstrategies.
- Oversee the development of high-quality launch assets, including targeted sales enablement tools, customer-facing campaigns, and educational resources.
- Ensure messaging is consistent, compelling, and tailored to priority audiences and aligns with on-market position and messaging
- Lead sales training and engagement activities to ensure full commercial readiness at launch.
- Monitor and analyze launch performance against defined KPIs, including adoption, market share, and revenue growth.
- Lead post-launch reviews to extract insights, codify best practices, and continuously improve the organization’s launch playbook.
- Drive the adoption of new processes and tools to increase launch efficiency and effectiveness across the oncology portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, life sciences, business, or related field or equivalent experience in Marketing required; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of marketing experience with 5+ years of B2B clinical product marketing preferred
- Clinical knowledge or understanding of oncology or urology with marketing product launch in these therapeutic areas preferred
- Experience marketing a prostate cancer product preferred
- Experience marketing and launching multiple products in oncology space preferred
- Product upstream marketing experience for an HCP / patient-facing physician audience in biotech, medical device, or similar industry required
- Must have experience:
- launching and supporting existing products
- owning and driving product and product portfolio marketing strategy and tactics
- creating clinical marketing content
- managing agency relationships, priorities, and budgets
- Product launch experience:
- Experience marketing and launching new products in Urology and/or Oncology clinical area(s), targeting urologists, medical oncologists, or radiation oncologists.
- Proven track record of independently leading complex product launches from strategy to execution, ideally in a regulated environment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Experience in executive presentation including value proposition and business case development
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement strategic marketing plans that deliver measurable business results.
- Advanced business acumen with the ability to synthesize complex scientific and clinical data into clear commercial direction.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams at all levels.
