About the role
- Develops relationships with new clients to increase business opportunities and revenue.
- Creates a plan of action to achieve performance objectives, goals, and quota through new business development.
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities offering omni-channel solutions to increase brand awareness, leads, and traffic.
- Develops and maintains a pipeline of business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
- Drives revenue growth among new clients by uncovering and understanding their business needs and optimizing campaigns based on data and ROI.
- Updates and maintains real time information in CRM to manage day-to-day activities.
- Prepares and conducts presentations to provide client-related information and data regarding product benefits.
- Provides sales quotes and responds to requests for proposals; negotiates terms and conditions with clients.
- Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Customer Experience, Marketing, Business Analytics) to deliver client solutions.
- Exemplifies Mspark as a brand ambassador internally and externally.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of outside/ remote sales experience or related experience in Advertising, Marketing, and/or Media.
- Proven record of digital marketing sales success.
- Performance driven mindset with a desire to win.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competitive and intellectually curious, always learning and finding creative ways to problem solve client objections.
- Experience working and selling in a virtual/remote environment.
- Technologically savvy with experience in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and other sales tools (preferred).
- Ability to prepare and conduct presentations, provide sales quotes, respond to RFPs, and negotiate terms.
