About the role
- Write B2B content across messaging, value proposition development, briefs, content frameworks, scripts, social posts, blogs, web copy and long-form content
- Act as a consultant working closely with clients, building relationships and understanding stakeholder needs
- Collaborate with and guide internal and external stakeholders on project and content planning, ideation, messaging, framework development and delivery
- Present ideas, run workshops and interviews, and discuss creative direction with clients
- Review existing client content, identify gaps and opportunities, and recommend new assets and orchestration plans
- Work with creative leads to plan and execute campaign and asset development
- Guide and oversee the work of more junior strategists and copywriters
- Develop high-quality, engaging, and persuasive content for various marketing platforms
- Work with consulting, design and producer teams to create cohesive and effective content
- Be the quality guardian for a key account, ensuring process, people, and product meet high standards
- Support business development by acting as the content expert for key accounts
- Act as brand champion safeguarding look, feel and approach for key clients
Requirements
- At least 7 years' experience working in similar role with a consultancy, creative agency or related B2B industry
- Strong B2B copywriting background
- Good understanding of the B2B sector, particularly client-centric growth strategies, account-based marketing (ABM), and consultancy services
- Operational knowledge of CMS, project management, AI tools for content creation, and other martech used in creation and distribution
- Ability to understand client needs and translate them into a content program and plan deliverables
- Experience engaging and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to craft clear, engaging, and persuasive content for various audiences, platforms and formats
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions quickly
- Ability to plan, organise, and manage your own work
- Self-starter, versatile, able to lead and guide more junior team members
- This is not a management role, but ability to guide and influence a multi-disciplinary team is required
