About the role

  • Identifies and implements business development projects relating to professional services
  • Identifies markets and determines the feasibility of product and service development
  • Performs economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities
  • Works with sales, marketing, and potential customers to determine their needs
  • Develop and execute an account strategy and pipeline to win new business within DoD ADO market areas
  • Identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities, with high Pwin potential, on prime contracts worth over $50M
  • Build/maintain a robust qualified pipeline of opportunities
  • Lead the development of white papers, RFI, Market Surveys, and Sources Sought responses

Requirements

  • 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
  • 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience
  • Five or more years of specific successful Program Management experience within the defense or federal market areas including Acquisition, Global Logistics, Integrated Product Support, Modernization, Operations
  • Established and extensive customer relationships with relevant senior and mid-level leadership in DoD or federal customers
  • Ability to learn, be proactive, manage multiple tasks, and have a demonstrated technical/business GovCon acumen
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior leadership
  • Ability to travel as required
