About the role
- Identifies and implements business development projects relating to professional services
- Identifies markets and determines the feasibility of product and service development
- Performs economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities
- Works with sales, marketing, and potential customers to determine their needs
- Develop and execute an account strategy and pipeline to win new business within DoD ADO market areas
- Identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities, with high Pwin potential, on prime contracts worth over $50M
- Build/maintain a robust qualified pipeline of opportunities
- Lead the development of white papers, RFI, Market Surveys, and Sources Sought responses
Requirements
- 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
- 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience
- Five or more years of specific successful Program Management experience within the defense or federal market areas including Acquisition, Global Logistics, Integrated Product Support, Modernization, Operations
- Established and extensive customer relationships with relevant senior and mid-level leadership in DoD or federal customers
- Ability to learn, be proactive, manage multiple tasks, and have a demonstrated technical/business GovCon acumen
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior leadership
- Ability to travel as required
