💰 $62,500 - $72,500 per year
About the role
- Work with client companies in a variety of industries and geographies, helping to build foundational HR programs, creating positive company cultures, and providing assistance and resources to their teams throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Onboarding and off-boarding team members
- Maintaining employee files and process documentation
- Revising and updating company handbooks
- Working with leaders to develop workplace policies that align with the goals of the business
- Providing guidance to employees and managers with questions and concerns
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state labor regulations
- Managing employee leave, including FMLA
- Assisting with benefits enrollment and inquiries
- Coordinating performance reviews
- Conducting workplace investigations, preparing reports as needed
- Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system updates
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience
- A consulting mindset with excellent communication skills and a focus on customer service
- In-depth knowledge of HR processes, best practices, and compliance
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the ability to keep digging until you find the answer
- Experience working with multi-state companies/clients preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred
