About the role

  • Drive adoption of new Vascular therapies and grow sales and market share for assigned territory
  • Train, educate, sell, and in-service new Vascular products to medical staff
  • Aggressively develop new accounts and convert target accounts to increase market share
  • Develop and execute accurate, ongoing sales and market development plans to achieve objectives
  • Plan and implement effective sales/product presentations and case support with physicians
  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare decision makers
  • Manage territory organization, planning, administration, expenses and adhere to company policies
  • Adhere to financial, regulatory, quality compliance standards and FDA requirements
  • Communicate market intelligence, competitor activity, and potential sales leads to District Sales Manager
  • Work with internal functions (marketing, customer service, finance) to meet targets and protocols
  • Participate in self-development and product knowledge training; recognize competitive products and market trends
  • Maintain knowledge of reimbursement landscape and contribute to team efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years B2B or Healthcare Sales experience
  • 4+ years experience selling medical device or medical capital equipment
  • Required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region
  • Valid driver's license
  • 5+ years selling to Interventional cardiology and/or radiology, hospital/Cath Lab setting, Vascular surgery or EO (preferred)
  • Experience in a highly customer focused, competitive selling environment; medical sales preferred
  • Full understanding and experience with the sales process, particularly in a hospital setting
  • Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and apply it in a live, case setting
  • Maintain strong ongoing knowledge of the reimbursement landscape
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Business planning and territory management skills
  • Presentation and clinical case planning skills
  • Ability to work independently & drive results
  • Knowledge & experience in operating room, hospital & physician office protocol/conduct
  • Ability to teach & educate medical personnel, peers & technical support personnel
  • Proficiency with iPad and SalesForces.com; PC literate
  • Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures and the medical device industry
  • Willingness to comply with hospital credentialing requirements and travel outside territory
