About the role
- Acquire and maintain expert-level knowledge of Medtronic Pulse Oximetry & Capnography Products and remote monitoring portfolio
- Provide regional clinical sales support and advanced level clinical expertise and leadership
- Deliver high level presentations, clinical engagements, and attend hospital department and divisional meetings
- Drive hospital adoption and conversions of Acute Care & Monitoring technologies and market share gains
- Participate in pre- and post-sale technology presentations and consultations to foster champions in key accounts
- Collaborate with regional and IDN sales teams, market development and sales leaders; manage key accounts with Account Exec
- Execute New Product Launches and align with product marketing to support collateral and programs
- Conduct demonstrations (side-by-side) and evaluations for Nellcor, Microstream, and wearable continuous monitoring technologies
- Create and maintain SFDC database of key account information, Pipeline, account profiles, and opportunities
- Elevate Account Executive team clinical acumen and consult on evaluation of new and existing products
- Attend regional, zone and national meetings; perform special projects as requested
- Required to reside within territory (Oklahoma City and Tulsa) and drive to multiple accounts; travel ~60-70%
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed clinician (RN, RRT, CRNA, ANA, AA, CC Perfusionist), OR Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a licensed clinician (RN or RRT) within the acute care hospital environment
- Minimum 2 years (24 months) clinical experience required (with Bachelor's) (or 5 years with Associate’s)
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
- Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel
- Travel 60-70%
- Ability to perform advanced clinical technology presentations and articulate scientific discussions around Medtronic ACM portfolio
- Experience in patient monitoring in a variety of care settings (including adult, pediatric, or neonatal ICU) (nice to have)
- Field sales/clinical experience in an acute care setting (nice to have)
- Experience in a team selling environment (nice to have)
- Medical capital and consumable sales experience (nice to have)
- Proficient in Salesforce.com, Sales Analytics and MS Office (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Advanced clinical and technical presentation experience to both small and large audiences
- Prior clinical research experience and/or scientific publication authorship (nice to have)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills for matrixed sales structure
- Ability to handle multiple complex tasks, prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines
- Compliance with hospital credentialing requirements for patient-facing field employees
- Must be independently mobile and able to interact with computer and communicate via phone, email, IM and in-person meetings
