About the role

  • Enhance the clinical selling process by providing expert-level knowledge of Medtronic pulse oximetry, capnography, multi-parameter wearable continuous vital sign monitoring, and remote monitoring portfolio
  • Provide regional clinical sales support providing advanced level clinical expertise and leadership including high level presentations, clinical engagements, and attending hospital department and divisional meetings
  • Drive hospital adoption and conversions of Acute Care & Monitoring technologies and market share gains by working closely with regional and IDN sales teams and market development and sales leaders
  • Involved in both pre- and post-sale technology presentations and consultation; fostering elements, processes, and building champions in key accounts for product adoption and customer satisfaction/loyalty
  • Responsible for a multi-state territory (approximately 75% in greater Minneapolis and 25% across 6 other states)
  • Conduct demonstrations and evaluations for Nellcor, Microstream, and wearable continuous monitoring technologies
  • Collaboratively manage key accounts with the Account Exec, building and maintaining clinical champion relationships
  • Create and maintain a SFDC database of key account information, including Pipeline, account profiles, opportunities
  • Attend regional, zone and national meetings; execute on New Product Launches; perform special projects as requested

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed clinician (RN, RRT, CRNA, ANA, AA, CC Perfusionist), OR Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a licensed clinician (RN or RRT) within the acute care hospital environment
  • Minimum clinical experience in acute care hospital environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Active vehicle insurance policy
  • Driving record will be reviewed
  • Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel
  • Overnight travel approximately 25% of the time
  • Travel percentage 60-70%
  • Ability to perform advanced clinical technology presentations and articulate scientific discussions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills for matrixed sales structure
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com, Sales Analytics and MS Office (Nice to have)
  • Field sales/clinical experience in an acute care setting (Nice to have)
  • Experience in patient monitoring in a variety of care settings (Nice to have)
