About the role
- Lead development, strategy, and execution of marketing initiatives for CVRx products in assigned markets
- Build awareness and drive adoption of Barostim Therapy among physicians, hospitals, and consumers
- Develop educational and communication programs to facilitate patient identification, selection, enrollment, and therapy acceptance
- Manage production of marketing material and sales collateral and aid in corporate messaging
- Develop and execute awareness programs for patients, clinicians, payers and strategic partners
- Lead HCP awareness activities with local sales teams, KOLs, patient associations, and health authorities
- Expand online presence via websites, social networks, and search engines
- Develop and execute medical conference strategy, planning and engagement
- Develop comprehensive Direct-to-Consumer patient lead generation and funnel optimization strategies
- Plan and organize regional medical education events and CME sessions
- Engage KOLs and key influencers to facilitate knowledge and acceptance of new therapies
- Lead market intelligence, product roadmap development, and collaboration with R&D
- Coordinate with Sales Operations to optimize Salesforce.com for reporting and forecasting
- Identify and track metrics to determine effectiveness and ROI for sales and marketing activities
- Complete special projects and perform job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of medical device (or MedTech) marketing experience
- Outstanding communication skills including verbal and written
- Expert level skills using Office 365 tools including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial, informal development environment while creating standards of excellence for future team members
- Demonstrable experience in both learning of and creating a deep understanding of a relatable medical device while promoting therapy awareness to various HCPs, centers and consumers
- Hands-on methods: not afraid to get “in the weeds” and perform alongside team members as well as lead them
- Able to function as a hands-on member internally and represent the company well while interacting externally with medical professionals and customers alike
- Career aspirations in leadership
- A valid form of approved identification for Air Travel is required (domestically and abroad)
- Preferred: MBA degree from a top tier business school
- Preferred: Prior experience with active implantable devices, including cardiovascular/cardiology and/or heart failure therapies
- Preferred: Involvement with commercial launches and clinical research of an implantable medical device and/or therapy
- Preferred: Experience with Direct-to-Consumer marketing of a medical device or therapy
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% and work in a team of professionals
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. if necessary, as part of role responsibilities
