About the role
- Provide regional clinical sales support and advanced level clinical expertise for Acute Care & Monitoring products
- Deliver high level presentations, clinical engagements, and attend hospital department and divisional meetings
- Drive hospital adoption and conversions of Acute Care & Monitoring technologies and market share gains
- Work closely with regional and IDN sales teams, market development and sales leaders to build champions in key accounts
- Support pre- and post-sale technology presentations and consultations
- Develop and deliver educational forums to regional teams and elevate Account Executive clinical acumen
- Align with product marketing to support collateral and new product launches
- Attend regional, zone and national meetings in support of corporate initiatives
- Execute on New Product Launches and participate in HealthCast portfolio initiatives as directed
- Create and maintain SFDC database of key account information including pipeline and opportunities
- Conduct demonstrations and evaluations for Nellcor, Microstream, and wearable continuous monitoring technologies
- Perform special projects as requested
Requirements
- Must reside within the territory (Oklahoma City and Tulsa) and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region
- Valid driver's license required and active vehicle insurance policy; driving record will be reviewed
- 50-70% travel (may require overnight travel) and travel outside the territory
- Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed clinician (RN, RRT, CRNA, ANA, AA, CC Perfusionist), OR Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a licensed clinician (RN or RRT) within the acute care hospital environment
- Clinical experience in acute care hospital environment
- Expert-level knowledge of Medtronic Pulse Oximetry & Capnography Products, multi-parameter wearable continuous vital sign monitoring, and remote monitoring portfolio
- Ability to perform advanced clinical technology presentations and articulate scientific discussions
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks, prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines
- Collaboratively manage key accounts and build clinical champion relationships
- Proficient in Salesforce.com, Sales Analytics and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Able to conduct demonstrations (side-by-side) and evaluations for Nellcor, Microstream, and wearable continuous monitoring technologies
- Must be independently mobile and able to interact with computer and communicate via telephone, email, instant message and in-person meetings
- Nice to have: Field sales/clinical experience in an acute care setting; Medical capital and consumable sales experience; Experience in patient monitoring across adult, pediatric, or neonatal ICU; Advanced clinical and technical presentation experience; Prior clinical research experience and/or scientific publication authorship
