About the role
- Lead the RDN Global Market Development Team to drive global market development strategy and expand therapy awareness and adoption
- Lead a field-based market development team with hypertension program creation and referral development responsibilities
- Scale efforts through digital driven direct-to-market efforts targeting referring physicians and patients
- Partner with global commercial organization on go to market activities
- Define and prioritize market development strategies to address key barriers and expand therapy adoption
- Build regional market development capabilities, including team expansion and resource allocation
- Lead development and execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies including web, email, paid media, SEO/SEM, social, mobile
- Collaborate with executive leadership, commercial teams, and clinical stakeholders
- Champion data-driven decision-making leveraging analytics, CRM insights, and digital behavior data
- Oversee content strategy and development ensuring compliant messaging for physicians and patients
- Manage digital agency and vendor partnerships
- Prioritize and engage with key audiences (General Cardiologists, Primary Care, Nephrology, Hospital Administration)
- Liaise across global and regional teams to ensure alignment and resource maximization
- Lead U.S. field-based Market Development Specialist (MDS) team and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs
- Recruit, coach, and develop top talent for the market development team
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 15+ years of experience in market development and/or marketing or program development work (or advanced degree with a minimum of 13 years relevant experience)
- Minimum 10 years of managerial experience
- Experience in the pharma &/or medical device industry
- Ability to travel up to 35% of the time
- Excellent ability to simplify complex objectives, prioritize critical initiatives, and align cross-functional team
- Experience in Healthcare marketing or consultative selling (nice to have)
- MBA or Master's in Business, Hospital Administration, Nursing, or Life Science (nice to have)
- Experience developing a new market, implementation of tactics, execution and performance tracking
- Experience leading a high performing team
