About the role

  • Support the Operations Director at North Haven location.
  • Provide analytical and project management support to oversee the entire AIP.
  • Data analysis, reporting, and logistical coordination.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and waste through systematic analysis and collaboration with various teams.
  • Support strategic deployment of Medtronic Performance System (MPS) tools to maximize impact and sustain process improvements.
  • Develop and update the annual Deployment Plan and the Execution Plan.
  • Provide data and insights to build a robust, data-driven strategy; monitor progress and adjust plan as needed.
  • Plan, perform and implement process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
  • Diagram and evaluate existing processes.
  • Organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
  • Develop metrics for process measurement and identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
  • Collect data to identify root cause of problems and measure performance against process requirements.
  • Align improvement to performance shortfalls.
  • Provide consultation on use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
  • Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
  • Survey and analyze best practices for techniques and processes.
  • Communicate team progress.
  • Perform cost and benefit analyses.

Requirements

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Data Management
  • High visibility roles

  • May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control
