About the role
- Support the Operations Director at North Haven location.
- Provide analytical and project management support to oversee the entire AIP.
- Data analysis, reporting, and logistical coordination.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and waste through systematic analysis and collaboration with various teams.
- Support strategic deployment of Medtronic Performance System (MPS) tools to maximize impact and sustain process improvements.
- Develop and update the annual Deployment Plan and the Execution Plan.
- Provide data and insights to build a robust, data-driven strategy; monitor progress and adjust plan as needed.
- Plan, perform and implement process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
- Diagram and evaluate existing processes.
- Organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
- Develop metrics for process measurement and identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
- Collect data to identify root cause of problems and measure performance against process requirements.
- Align improvement to performance shortfalls.
- Provide consultation on use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
- Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
- Survey and analyze best practices for techniques and processes.
- Communicate team progress.
- Perform cost and benefit analyses.
Requirements
- Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Experience in: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Data Management
