About the role
- Manage value creation projects from detailed planning through execution while meeting delivery, quality and cost goals
- Lead cross functional teams including design, quality, operations, category management to ensure successful completion of projects and business goals
- Work actively with business, sites, contract manufacturing and key strategic suppliers to meet project timing and milestones
- Develop, communicate, and document project strategies and plans including budget, detailed schedule creation/maintenance, and KPIs
- Perform cost/benefit analysis to determine feasibility of project in initiation process
- Lead prioritization of cross-functional teams to ensure business objectives are achieved
- Use judgment to assess tradeoffs and hold teams accountable to commitments
- Drive strategic and tactical programs associated with margin improvement benefits across product portfolios
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of business process, Engineering Program Management and/or project management experience OR advanced degree and 3+ years of business process and/or project management experience
- Advanced Degree (Nice to have)
- PMP Certification (Nice to have)
- Experience leading projects/programs including financial accountability
- Experience working with suppliers and/or contract manufacturers
- Financial management skills
- Experience leading cross functional teams
- Medical Device industry experience (Nice to have)
- Demonstrated strong business acumen and planning experience
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening with all levels of the organization)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with unknowns and developing roadmaps
- Ability to influence business leaders, stakeholders and individual contributors
- MS Project software experience
- Ability to travel occasionally
