About the role

  • Manage complex projects and foster strong relationships across multiple business units and regions
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Director of Process Improvement & Project Management Office
  • Lead multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams related to project scope (no direct reports)
  • Develop and implement strategic projects to enhance Medtronic’s market position in LATAM
  • Partner with LATAM senior leadership to ensure projects support broader business goals and act as primary contact for project inquiries
  • Monitor project progress to ensure execution within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations updating senior leadership and stakeholders on project status, risks, and outcomes
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and growth to drive revenue and market share
  • Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related areas
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in consulting and/or program or project management (corporate setting and large enterprises preferred)
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or Lean Management methodologies and frameworks
  • Experience with Project Management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet)
  • Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish (verbal and written) and English as a mandatory second language
  • Experience in customer-facing roles with strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship management
  • Familiarity with enterprise software solutions and IT infrastructure
  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Lean Six-Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or ICAgile are desirable
  • Experience working in the healthcare or medical device industry managing projects across different geographical regions and cultures
  • Position located in LATAM (Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, or Chile)
