About the role
- Own all aspects of marketing including target market segmentation and prioritization, matching new product functionality with optimal target market sub-segments, and executing targeted demand generation/performance marketing initiatives
- Lead brand evolution, creative, events, marketing operations, data analytics, PR, and sales enablement
- Partner with senior leadership to develop strategic marketing plans and execute the marketing strategy
- Develop a detailed plan to achieve a 2-3x increase in pipeline size and ensure organizational alignment around key target segments and sequencing of execution
- Establish KPIs, performance measures, benchmarks (e.g., cost per lead, conversion into sales opportunities), optimal tactical mix, and manage the annual budget
- Build and lead market research and planning initiatives to define buyer personas, buying journeys, and critical information sources
- Work with senior leadership and product to finalize pricing and positioning of product integrations and bundles
- Articulate company growth strategy and evolve the MDaudit brand story and messaging architecture
- Operate go-to-market as a data-driven machine, evolving analytics to optimize media/advertising spend based on ROI
- Enable sales with content, pitch decks, training, competitive analysis, case studies, white papers, and buyer guides
- Maximize lead generation from trade shows, conferences, virtual events, and QBRs with existing clients
- Build and develop a marketing team across Product Marketing/Upsell and Digital/Demand Generation and lead agency engagements effectively
Requirements
- Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- Strong in analytics and data-driven decision-making
- 8-10 years of B2B marketing experience in the SaaS space with some healthcare exposure
- Experience driving demand generation and product marketing strategies including messaging, sales enablement, pricing & packaging, market insights, and new product/version launches
- 5-7 years of team management experience
- Prior success building and leading marketing teams and scaling high growth SaaS B2B businesses
- Subject matter expertise in account-level SaaS marketing with emphasis on strategy, brand positioning, performance marketing, data analytics, and sales enablement
- Experience or gravitas to interact directly with executive management, Board, and private equity team
- Ability to pivot from strategy and brand development to execution optimization
- Highly data-driven and metrics-focused with history of implementing marketing processes and systems
- Deep operational experience in building and scaling high performing marketing teams
- Proven ability to recruit, retain and motivate high performing marketing teams
- Proven ability to engage agency partners effectively
- Background in technology solutions for healthcare is a plus
