About the role
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders across the Americas region
- Partner with regional leadership and practice heads to develop and implement colleague communication and engagement strategies
- Develop strategic internal communications approaches and oversee clear, compelling, and consistent communication of key messages related to firm strategy, culture, and change initiatives
- Lead initiatives to continuously enhance the colleague experience, ensuring engagement efforts are meaningful, measurable, and aligned with business outcomes
- Drive programs and communications that embed Oliver Wyman’s core values into everyday behaviors and decision-making
- Support leaders in managing change by providing tools, insights, and communications that foster colleague buy-in and participation
- Establish metrics and feedback mechanisms to assess engagement levels and the impact of initiatives, using data to refine approaches and demonstrate value
- Collaborate closely with Human Capital, People Experience, and Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging teams to ensure integrated communication efforts
- Represent the firm’s commitment to internal communications at senior leadership forums and regional meetings, acting as a trusted advisor and influencer
- Occasional travel within North America to support regional engagement activities and leadership meetings
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in internal communications, marketing, colleague engagement, organizational development, or related fields, preferably within professional services or consulting firms
- Demonstrated success working with senior-level executives as a strategic advisor
- Strong expertise in designing and executing engagement strategies that drive cultural alignment and business results
- Exceptional strategic communication skills, with the ability to craft and deliver clear, persuasive messages to diverse audiences
- Proven change management experience and the ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple locations
- Data-driven mindset with experience using engagement metrics and insights to inform strategy
- Collaborative, empathetic leadership style with strong influencing and stakeholder management capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Ability to travel occasionally within North America
