About the role

  • Define strategic vision and product roadmaps aligned to Civica’s overall vision and strategic goals
  • Lead and mentor other product managers and collaborate with product design, user research, engineering and commercial teams
  • Develop and maintain deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and business goals to refine the product roadmap
  • Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and market research to gather feedback and insights
  • Define and prioritise product requirements to guide engineering and manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch
  • Plan and execute product launches with Product Marketing, including launch plans, positioning, and messaging
  • Analyse data and metrics to measure product performance and make data-driven decisions
  • Oversee lifecycle management ensuring alignment with company mission and maximise productivity and growth
  • Champion knowledge sharing and documentation of product decisions and designs
  • Hands-on execution of product strategy and ensuring product development practices align to global vision

Requirements

  • Strong product management experience, working in a modern software or product led organisation
  • Experience operating with Agile development methodologies to manage product development and collaborate with engineering teams
  • Ability to navigate and address the complexities of product lifecycle management
  • Strong analytical skills to collect, analyse, and interpret data to inform product decisions and identify market opportunities
  • Capable of prioritising features, requirements, and tasks based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
  • Driving force behind building and execute a product roadmap and strategy that aligns with customer needs and company goals
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success
  • Experience crafting compelling stories to communicate product vision, value, and benefits to various stakeholders at different levels
