Director

• Provide strategic direction and guidance for all aspects of LISC’s programs and investments in Memphis.
• Responsible for raising capital and resources locally that are leveraged by National LISC’s support.
• Steward relationships with government, philanthropy, community and civic partners.
• Strategically cultivate and steward a portfolio of existing relationships with philanthropy, financial institutions, corporations, and government.
• Identify and cultivate new and existing relationships, provide innovative strategic opportunities with foundations and partners.
• Spearhead and achieve the annual fundraising goals to ensure operational sustainability.
• Oversee the growth of the Memphis investment pipeline to support comprehensive development by managing LISC lending activity.
• Manage large, complex public-private partnerships and programs.

Executive Director

Customer Support

• Administer weekly loan Intake agendas and materials.
• Support the loan intake pipeline by gathering and distributing feedback on early-stage underwriting concerns, impact assessment, and compliance with LISC lending guidelines.
• Ensure high-quality data in LISC’s loan systems, including data entry and maintenance.
• Support data analysis on loan commitments and key performance indicators for monthly, semi-annual, annual, and ad hoc reporting to senior management.
• Analyze key performance indicators related to loan intake, approval, and closing to identify efficiency improvements.
• Oversee the solicitation, bid review, and engagement of third-party due diligence providers including ordering of appraisals in conjunction with Lending and local office staff.
• Support the asset management team in planning and scheduling portfolio monitoring and loan watch meetings, including creating meeting agendas and reviewing and circulating loan reports, circulating follow-up notes and ensuring compliance with all follow-up items, including risk rating changes.
• Provide back-up support on the ordering and review of borrower credit, tax, and background reports.
• Provide back-up support to the Credit Officer with regards to coordination of new loan and amendment review, sign-off, and approval, including management of Credit Committee meetings and minutes.
• Create marketing and communication materials to share with internal and external audiences with a focus on the impact of lending activity.
• Provide technical assistance to local program staff on loan policies, procedures, and system usage.
• Assist in facilitation of LISC’s Lending for Impact workgroup.

Lending Support Specialist

Manager

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of debt and equity investments across designated LFM-managed funds.
• Develop and maintain proactive relationships with borrowers, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the life of each investment.
• Monitor borrower performance through analysis of financial statements, operating results, property cash flows, rent rolls, budgets, and other portfolio reporting.
• Compare ongoing portfolio performance against original underwriting assumptions and investment projections, identifying material variances, emerging risks, and opportunities for proactive intervention.
• Review loan documents to ensure borrower compliance with loan covenants, reporting requirements, insurance, taxes, maturity dates, and other credit conditions.
• Verify loan balances, accrued interest, servicing activity, and other financial information to ensure portfolio accuracy.
• Review servicing reports and payment activity to identify delinquencies, payment trends, and servicing discrepancies.
• Communicate regularly with borrowers to understand project performance, discuss operational challenges, and support successful loan outcomes.
• Participate in post-closing loan transitions to ensure accurate transfer of underwriting assumptions and ongoing monitoring requirements.
• Conduct periodic site visits and annual portfolio reviews to evaluate property performance, strengthen borrower relationships, and identify risks that may not be evident through financial reporting.
• Prepare portfolio analyses, loan summaries, impairment analyses, and asset performance reports for management review.
• Prepare and update Excel-based portfolio risk ratings using established qualitative and quantitative assessment frameworks.
• Maintain accurate and current portfolio data across asset management systems, reporting tools, and portfolio trackers.
• Coordinate preparation of portfolio analyses and reporting materials supporting Fund Management oversight and investment decision-making.
• Monitor and report portfolio financial and impact metrics in accordance with fund reporting requirements and established reporting timelines.
• Support audits by maintaining accurate, complete, and audit-ready portfolio documentation.
• Support standardized documentation practices and continuous improvement of portfolio reporting and data integrity.
• Serve as the primary asset manager for assigned watchlist, non-performing, and defaulted loans.
• Identify emerging portfolio risks and develop mitigation strategies in coordination with the Director, Asset Management.
• Structure, negotiate, and administer loan modifications, amendments, extensions, forbearance agreements, and workout strategies.
• Partner with Construction Management, Legal, Loan Administration, and Servicing to resolve complex credit, construction, and portfolio issues.
• Support foreclosure, collateral enforcement, and other resolution strategies, as appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with Underwriting, Construction Management, Loan Administration, Fund Management, Legal, and Servicing to support effective portfolio management throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Review non-construction disbursement requests for compliance with approved budgets, loan documents, and fund requirements.
• Present portfolio updates, borrower developments, and asset performance analyses during internal portfolio, risk, and fund review meetings.
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor to Asset Managers and Asset Management Analysts, as appropriate.
• Contribute to process improvements, portfolio standards, and adoption of asset management best practices to strengthen LFM's portfolio management capabilities.
• This position is expected to travel less than once per month, up to 15% annually.

Senior Asset Manager

General

• Manage weekly Credit Committee materials and meetings. This also includes distributing credit packages, serving as secretary for the meetings, and ensuring credit requirements are reflected in the meeting notes and credit memos.
• Coordinate and manage the review of loans and amendments approved by the Chief Credit Officer.
• Support the review and approval of all loan requests from intake through closing, working closely with Lending, Finance, and Legal staff.
• Conduct internal outreach on maturing loans, circulate status updates, and coordinate the review and approval of all amendment requests.
• Review final drafts of credit memos and ensure that underwriting requirements have been satisfied and all requested information and analysis has been incorporated in the memos
• Prepare loan approval notification letters after loans have been approved at Credit Committee or by the Chief Credit Officer
• Ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of data entered in Salesforce and other loan systems and that all required approvals for new loans and amendments have been recorded.
• Under the supervision of the Senior Credit Officer, review and analyze requests for recoverable grant financing. Collaborate with responsible stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and impact goals.
• Perform analysis on loan commitments and performance for ad hoc reports to senior management, including periodic reporting to ensure data integrity for LISC’s impact metrics.
• Manage and update all credit policies and procedures including an underwriting manual.
• Serve as a back-up to the Loan Support Specialist with regards to loan intake management and pipeline analysis.

Credit Officer

Learning and Development

• Manage LISC Cleveland’s network of Financial Opportunity Centers, and provide ongoing organizational resources, networking opportunities, strategic guidance, planning and project management, technical assistance, and training for each site.
• Steward strategic relationships with economic development and workforce partners to establish LISC’s FOC model as a value-add within the local ecosystem.
• Under the guidance of the Senior Program Officer, plan and carry out workshops and peer learning events for partners on topics related to LISC Cleveland’s financial stability and homeownership programs. Efforts will include leading the execution of the program, coordination of session logistics and speakers, and related program communications. Topics will include Financial Stability, Heirs Property, Home Repair and Homeownership.
• Support the implementation of the Section 4 workplan through grants management, monthly reimbursement and programmatic deliverables for compliance reporting.
• Assist and work with community partners to strengthen program design, implementation, and staff capacity around financial stability and wealth building initiatives, focusing on housing programs.
• Manage the development and implementation of LISC Cleveland’s community and housing programs, including monitoring and reporting on programmatic goals and deliverables.
• Work with LISC Cleveland staff to develop new programs and partnerships with government, nonprofits and corporate and philanthropic partners.
• Participate in city-wide initiatives that further programmatic priorities managed by other partners.
• Identify opportunities to highlight LISC’s thought leadership in financial coaching, workforce development and housing strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and write proposals to raise resources for LISC Cleveland programs, report to funders on programmatic results and maintain and cultivate funder relationships.
• Track data and develop accurate, accessible, and up-to-date grant applications and reports on grantee/partner projects and program accomplishments.
• Coordinate with the national Housing and Income and Wealth Building Team on program alignment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director and Senior Program Officer.
• When safe, periodically travel outside of the Cleveland area for peer learning, training and national LISC activities about 5% annually.

Program Officer – Wealth Building, Workforce Development

Director, Human Resources Business Partner

Program Officer

• Manage programs and activities connected to LISC Indianapolis’ local housing strategy, including efforts focused on affordable housing preservation, housing production, homeowner stability, and partner capacity building.
• Track local housing trends, project pipelines, partner needs, and implementation barriers to help inform LISC Indianapolis’ housing priorities and investment strategies.
• Prepare reports, presentations, briefing materials, and written updates on housing programs, real estate development activity, partner progress, and program impact.
• Manage a portfolio of housing and real estate development initiatives, including grantmaking, partner support, technical assistance, program monitoring, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Cultivate relationships with funders, financial institutions, public agencies, and philanthropic partners to align funding and investment opportunities with LISC Indianapolis’ housing and real estate development goals.
• Support the preparation of proposals, applications, reports, presentations, and tours as required by funders, investors, LISC, and other stakeholders.
• Manage grants, contracts, and consulting engagements with community-based partners and technical assistance providers, including program scopes, disbursements, partner monitoring, and narrative and financial reporting.
• Participate in peer learning opportunities with other LISC markets and departments, and support special projects as needed.
• Identify and cultivate housing and real estate development lending opportunities aligned with LISC Indianapolis’ mission, local housing strategy, and neighborhood priorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with nonprofit developers, emerging developers, community development corporations, public agencies, private developers, lenders, funders, and other real estate partners.
• Support early-stage project review, including assessment of project concepts, development budgets, sources and uses, financing gaps, timelines, partner capacity, and alignment with LISC priorities.
• Coordinate with LISC Lending, underwriting, legal, asset management, and investment teams to help move prospective deals through the appropriate review, approval, closing, and monitoring processes.
• Strengthen the capacity of local housing partners, nonprofit developers, community development corporations, emerging developers, and mission-driven real estate partners to plan, finance, and execute affordable housing and community development projects.
• Convene trainings, peer learning sessions, workshops, and partner meetings to share best practices and support local developer capacity.
• Serve as LISC’s neighborhood liaison for assigned Quality of Life Plan area(s), representing LISC at local meetings and building relationships with resident leaders and partners.
• Explore opportunities to leverage LISC tools, programs, and investments to support the implementation of neighborhood plans and foster vibrant local economies.

Program Officer, Housing and Real Estate

• Develop and maintain relationships in the community development sector, by participating and representing LISC Phoenix on local coalitions and workgroups and with government agencies and thought partners.
• Assist in efforts to develop strategic collaborations with and among community-based organizations, anchor institutions, and other corporate, civic, and public sector organizations to leverage LISC’s capabilities.
• Manage and support stakeholder groups (i.e. LAC, ACRC, APHC) by coordinating meetings and executing agree-upon activities
• Raise visibility of LISC Phoenix activities through communications, policy and advocacy, and community engagement activities, support story development, media outreach and social media management.
• Develop and manage external communications for LISC Phoenix, including websites. eblasts, newsletters, Jostle updates, program announcements, and project summaries.
• Collaborate with staff and partners to gather stories, visuals, and data that highlight program outcomes and community impact.
• Draft reports, talking points, and narrative materials for internal and external audiences.
• Maintain consistent public messaging that uplifts community voices and reflects LISC Phoenix’s commitments to removing barriers to opportunity and collaboration.
• Work with the Senior Executive Director to support funding proposals, preparing the annual giving campaign, invoicing for regular donations, and tracking of fundraising activities in Salesforce
• Administers contracts between LISC and consultants, through the lifecycle of the contract, including drafting, evaluating performance, and maintaining contractual records.
• Manage application development and intake for competitive grant programs (i.e. HUD, ACRC, Pre-Dev, AHF, HHF)
• Lead strategic planning and logistical management for the Annual LISC Phoenix Event, including vendor contracts and coordination, sponsorship alignment, content curation, and communications.
• Support the design and implementation of community resilience projects, including site visits, workshops, multi-partner gatherings, and public facing engagements.

• Provide non-technical, strategic guidance on physical corridor improvements—helping partners conceptualize priorities, assess feasibility, and align redevelopment ideas with community goals.
• Strengthen organizational capacity through targeted technical assistance, professional development, training, coaching, and peer-learning opportunities.
• Facilitate learning networks for corridor managers to improve corridor management, placemaking, small business support, and safety strategies.
