• Define and drive the product strategy across edge services, application security, and compliance.
• Build a multi-year roadmap that positions application services as a platform differentiator, not just a feature checklist.
• Identify where to build, buy, or partner across the edge and security ecosystem (CDN providers, WAF engines, bot detection, compliance tooling, threat intelligence feeds).
• Conduct competitive analysis across CDN/edge providers, WAAP (Web Application and API Protection) vendors, and compliance platforms to inform positioning and prioritization.
• Translate evolving threat landscapes, compliance requirements, and performance demands into clear product direction.
• Own the full product lifecycle from discovery through delivery, adoption, and iteration across a diverse set of product surfaces.
• Define how edge, security, and compliance capabilities integrate into the broader cloud platform rather than existing as siloed add-ons.
• Drive product decisions across a mix of build-vs-buy, vendor integration, and in-house development.

• Own and manage critical KPIs that are central to overall business performance

Commissions Analyst

Performance Marketing

• Reporting directly to the Director of Growth Marketing, the Head of Demand Generation is the pipeline engine of the Nexcess growth marketing team.
• While the Director sets the overarching GTM strategy and revenue targets, you own the full demand generation motion — the GTM playbooks, the account-based programs, the BDR targeting strategy, and the $1M+ marketing-generated pipeline number.
• You will lead a team of three — a Growth Media Strategist, an Events Manager, and a Growth Coordinator — and work in close partnership with Strategic Partnerships, Lifecycle, Content Experience, and Web Experience to ensure every channel and program is coordinated around a shared target account list, not operating as an isolated campaign.
• You are the person who translates the Director's strategy into executable plays, holds the BDR team to a shared definition of pipeline, and makes the kill-or-scale call on every program within a defined window.

Head of Demand Generation

• Own and lead the FP&A close process for both compensation and non-compensation costs.
• Own the monthly forecasting process and results for compensation and non-compensation expenses.
• Develop and build out all corporate reporting for evaluating the close, including providing detailed variance explanations.
• Guide the preparation of finance-related slides for the board deck.
• Manage budget reporting to and meetings with the business, providing variance explanations and valuable insights to empower budget leaders to make data-driven decisions.
• Manage a team of financial analysts and senior financial analysts to support forecasting processes, provide insights, and deliver reporting to the business.
