About the role
- Develop and execute comprehensive Local SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and drive qualified traffic
- Conduct Google Business Profile audits, optimizations, and management (Q&As, reviews, and performance improvements)
- Build and maintain accurate local citations across directories
- Perform geo-specific keyword research and optimize for local search rankings
- Partner with content teams to guide SEO-friendly content creation and optimize for search intent
- Perform detailed technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers on improvements to site architecture, speed, and mobile usability
- Monitor and optimize Core Web Vitals and other ranking factors
- Use proprietary tools (Search Atlas) and dashboards to track SEO performance, ROI, and traffic growth
- Prepare and present SEO reports and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with Customer Success teams to identify growth opportunities and participate in client strategy sessions
- Work directly with internal teams and client accounts to develop and implement strategies that deliver measurable results
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on SEO experience with a proven track record of improving organic performance
- Expert-level Local SEO experience, particularly with Google Business Profile (GBP) management
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Search Atlas, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
- Experience in client-facing roles at an agency or corporate environment
- Strong background in technical SEO audits and implementations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—capable of explaining SEO concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
- Ability to thrive in cross-functional, collaborative environments
- Must be able to work EST hours
