About the role
- Lead SEO projects: guide partners to maximize organic performance and ensure high SERP rankings; support partners and other SEOs in project management.
- Strategy: oversee execution of holistic SEO strategy across technical, on-page and off-page SEO; define long-term roadmap for SEO growth.
- Conduct audits: perform on-site audits, backlink profile analyses and competitor analyses using latest SEO tools; present findings and recommendations verbally and in writing.
- Analyses and reporting: provide high-level and in-depth reports to partners; proactively support clients during implementation.
- Collaboration: work with other SEOs, content teams, site developers, digital analytics, PPC and other professionals to deepen insights.
- Continuous learning: follow SEO news and updates and help keep team knowledge up-to-date.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working with SEO (agency or enterprise-level clients a plus).
- Experience in doing site audits and deploying an effective strategy based on business goals.
- Familiarity with auditing tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog or subsidiaries.
- Familiarity with reporting tools like Looker Studio or equivalent.
- Fast, efficient, solution-oriented problem solving mentality; ability to work in teams and independently; strong ownership.
- Work experience with a developer team or external developers.
- Knowledge of multiple CMS platforms is a plus.
- Basics in analytics: GA4 certificate preferred or ability to pass the exam; Google Search Console is a must.
- Spot-on communication skills: negotiate and present to clients and team in both Hungarian and English.
- Consultant skill set: proactive, strategic perspective, understand customers’ needs and manage clients tactically.
