About the role
- Develop and execute SEO strategies for individual Rocket Clicks clients to drive performance results
- Actively engage in SEO analysis and strategy on a daily basis
- Attend and participate in internal sprint meetings and client calls to support Account Managers and foster client confidence
- Prioritize critical tasks and find efficiencies through automation and delegation
- Own strategic decisions within organic search optimization (technical SEO, on-page, linking development)
- Execute Rocket Clicks playbook and ensure account execution follows company First Principles methodology
- Analyze performance data for monthly and quarterly reporting
- Own and delegate SEO tasks within weekly sprint planning framework
- Ideate experiments to improve client performance and work with design/editing partners for search-friendly content
- Act as Quality Assurance for conversion tracking and document client-specific tasks for delegation
- Audit client and prospect accounts for opportunities and contribute to documentation improvements
- Track, manage, and report on SEO KPIs; maintain a six-month roadmap and perform strategic forecasting and budget planning
Requirements
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experiential knowledge
- Prior experience working in a professional services organization
- 5+ years professional experience in digital marketing
- 3+ years specialized in SEO
- Experience leading or managing teams of individual contributors
- Preference given to candidates with experience working for/with law firms
- Strong technical SEO skills (schema markup, site architecture, internal and external linking strategies, page redirects and status codes, crawl budget, HTML/CSS)
- Experience with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush)
- Ability to set up and troubleshoot conversion tracking for digital analytics
- Ability to successfully manage SEO campaigns across 10-20 brands and accounts
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
