About the role
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for content and technical optimization.
- Build and maintain a keyword lexicon for online and offline use throughout the business.
- Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for search engines.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all digital assets.
- Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Perform regular technical SEO audits and implement fixes to improve site health and crawlability.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry developments.
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
- Work with web developers to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
- Monitor competitive sites and identify content gaps and opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in SEO
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEMrush.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with local SEO strategy.
- Familiarity with paid search campaigns and how they complement organic efforts.
