• Lead Global PR Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive public relations strategy that grows brand awareness, enhances reputation, and supports business goals.
• Media Relations Leadership: Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with consumer, trade, lifestyle, and travel media; serve as a primary spokesperson for the company.
• Executive Communications: Support and advise senior executives on internal and external communications, media interviews, and public speaking opportunities.
• Agency & Partner Management: Direct and manage external our PR agency, ensuring alignment on strategy, messaging, and measurable outcomes.
• PR Activations: Design and oversee press events, media trips, and partner activations that highlight Lindblad’s unique expeditions and sustainability leadership.
• Crisis & Issues Management: Serve as point of contact for crisis communications and develop proactive strategies to safeguard the company’s reputation.
• Financial Communications: Assist the CFO and GC with earnings releases, SEC filings, and other public company needs.
• National Geographic and Disney Partnership: Be the primary point of contact for PR for all our collaboration with our NG and Disney partners.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Digital, Operations, and Sustainability teams to ensure PR is fully integrated into company initiatives.
• Internal Partnership Development: Closely with the VP, Marketing & Partnership, to integrate the PR initiatives into a centralized marketing and communications integrated plan, ensuring consistent messaging, unified business priorities, and complementary layered goals across the organization.
• Measurement & Reporting: Establish clear metrics for PR performance; track, analyze, and report results to leadership.

Director, Public Relations

Account Executive

• Provide administrative support for travel agencies, wholesalers, and international travel partners.
• Provide inbound and outbound phone and email support for travel advisors seeking sales direction for new inquiries, existing reservations, and customer service assistance.
• Provide travel advisors with promotional materials & collateral as requested.
• Handle travel advisor escalations and liaison with the relevant departments to resolve.
• Provide commission reconciliation support.
• Manage records, cases and communication via Salesforce pertaining to new and existing advisors and agencies.
• Assist with all travel advisor educational travel requests.
• Maintain and update travel agency database in Salesforce, Seaware, and advisor training platform.
• Provide administrative support for the sales department by submitting client invoices as needed.
• Maintain a friendly and outgoing disposition, assisting in strengthening our relationship with all B2B partners.
• Attend industry events, as permitted depending on workload.

Inside Sales Representative

Operations

• Manage all Field Staff-based Polar Operations, such as:
• Oversee the need for and use of new polar operations equipment (i.e. cross-country skis, snowshoes, kayaks, firearms).
• Develop and implement training as needed for activities such as firearms, hiking, kayaking, cross-country skiing, bear safety, etc.
• Manage the firearms program and Weapon’s Masters.
• Work with Marine Operations and Compliance to create and disseminate pertinent guidelines, protocols, and Zodiac trainings to the fleet.
• Help create safety videos for polar ship operations.
• Assist Field Staff Coordinators to understand and disseminate information about polar destination requirements and training.
• Act as Field Staff Department liaison for all Bluewater vessels during shipyard.
• Act as liaison and a Lindblad staff representative for IAATO and AECO, including serving on Working Groups and collaborating with Marine and Expedition Development.
• Collaborate with the Expedition Equipment Specialist to ensure that all shipboard equipment is properly maintained and inventoried, and equipment is ordered efficiently.
• Work with Expedition Development to identify innovative tools for exploration in polar regions.
• Communicate all IAATO and AECO updates to the Field Staff Department, including both field and shoreside team members.
• Communicate with shoreside teams on staff-related concerns (voyage operations and expectations, marketing information boards, etc.).
• Review weekly digital comment cards and adjust expedition operations appropriately.
• Regularly host debriefs with Expedition Leaders and provide feedback to field staff.
• Frequently visit the ships to provide mentorship and/or training for Expedition Leaders and other Field Staff, and to build report with Ship’s officers and crew.
• Keep the Field Staff Logistics Manager and Field Staff Manager up to date with operational Field Staff Handbook needs.
• Assist with the National Geographic Explorers-In-Training program or LEXU.
• May fill in as Expedition Leader on 1 – 2 trips per year.

Field Staff Operations Manager

Supply Chain

• Oversee end-to-end technical supply chain operations for the Cruise Division
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for more than $40M of technical Opex and Capex spend
• Lead and mentor a team of procurement managers, expeditors, and invoice clerks
• Build strong internal partnerships with Technical/Marine Operations, superintendents, and shipboard chief engineers
• Strengthen planning processes including demand forecasting, preventive maintenance planning, shipyard planning, and inventory management
• Establish, track, and analyze KPIs for service performance, inventory management, cost innovation, and lead times

Director of Technical Supply Chain

• Manage all Field Staff-based Operations in temperate and tropical regions, such as:
• Oversee the need for and use of new equipment (i.e. kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, snorkel gear, whisper devices).
• Develop and implement training as needed for activities such as hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, bear safety, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), etc.
• Develop and implement operations-based training for Field Staff based on regional and general needs.
• Work with Marine Operations and Compliance to create and disseminate pertinent guidelines, protocols, and Zodiac trainings to the fleet.
• Help create safety videos for ship operations in temperate and tropical regions.
• Assist Field Staff Coordinators to understand and disseminate information about temperate and tropical destination requirements and training.
• Act as Field Staff Department liaison for US vessels during shipyard.
• Act as liaison and Lindblad staff representative for the USFS in Alaska.
• Collaborate with the Expedition Equipment Specialist to ensure that all shipboard equipment is properly maintained and inventoried, and equipment is ordered efficiently.
• Work with Expedition Development to identify innovative tools for exploration.
• Communicate all USFS and other regional updates to the Field Staff Department, including both field and shoreside team members.

Manager

• Lead and optimize all logistics operations for hotel and technical freight.
• Responsible for cost management, freight integration, warehousing strategies, and dry dock planning.
• Ensure seamless supply chain execution across global operations.
• Establish baseline costing and confirm annual budgets.
• Track monthly actuals versus budget and report variances.
• Analyze and explain variances in rates, volumes, and operational misses.
• Negotiate freight rates and optimize cost structures.
• Integrate technical and hotel freight flows to maximize synergies.
• Manage relationships with 3PLs, ensuring alignment and formalizing roles and responsibilities.
• Own annual planning and budgeting for hotel and technical freight.
• Ensure daily logistics service levels and resolve operational issues.
