Financial Planning and Analysis

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial and operating models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and strategic initiatives.
• Model potential financial outcomes under different operational, economic, and strategic scenarios to inform decision making.
• Drive the monthly financial reporting process. Conduct detailed variance analysis with a focus on going beyond the numbers to understand underlying trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with business units with analyses of business performance, providing data-driven insights to support budgeting, business planning, and financial and operational improvements.
• Provide analytical support for the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.

• Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives as outlined by the executive team
• Collaborate with the executive team to integrate people strategy into the business planning and support top talent identification and development planning for all employee types
• Lead, coach and develop a highly functioning HR team, maintaining clear ownership across HR disciplines and ensuring consistent service delivery across all businesses
• Partner with the Executive Team to drive performance management and engagement including oversight of goal setting, performance reviews, leadership and management development initiatives and succession planning

• Oversees all medical services across the Lindblad Expeditions’ fleet
• Assists with medical policy development, staffing, and regulatory compliance
• Ensures compliance with international regulations and public health authorities
• Recruits and helps onboard shipboard medical personnel
• Develops and coordinates onboard training programs
• Assists with medical emergency response planning
• Manages procurement of medical equipment and supplies

Manager, Medical Operations

• Act as a finance business partner to Maritime Operations team, supporting decision-making through financial analysis and strategic insight.
• Partner and collaborate closely with Maritime Operations stakeholders (fleet, technical, procurement, and operations leadership) to understand operational drivers, align financial plans with operational priorities, and support informed decision-making.
• Own financial oversight of the Maritime Operations P&L, including drydock costs, repairs and maintenance, bunkers, and consumables.
• Contribute to monthly P&L reviews, including variance analysis and performance commentary for senior leadership.
• Support the development of annual operating budgets and quarterly reforecasts for Marine Operations.
• Track, analyze, and report operating expenses (including support for GL coding)
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operational efficiency and strategic objectives.
