Support Account Executives and Sales Managers with day-to-day account management tasks.
Assist in prospecting new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and email outreach.
Schedule and coordinate client meetings, demos, and presentations.
Prepare sales materials, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs.
Track and document sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline progress in Salesforce.
Respond to customer and reseller inquiries, escalating as needed to senior team members.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and sales events to support sales and marketing efforts.
Learn and understand customer technical needs to better position Lightspeed’s solutions.
Collaborate with Sales Engineers and other internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.
Build relationships within assigned accounts and markets to drive long-term growth.
Requirements
0–2 years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience (internships or school projects welcome).
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Strong interest in technology and/or education, with a desire to learn EdTech solutions.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to engage professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow into an Account Executive role.
Comfort with CRM tools (Salesforce experience a plus) and proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
High-energy, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
Passionate about making a difference in education.
Role will require travel for client meetings, industry events, and occasional team gatherings.
