About the role

  • Serve as the primary support for Outside Sales Representatives, addressing high-level customer inquiries and assisting in account management to maximize revenue and gross margin.
  • Prepare and manage quotes, proposals, and business reviews to support the sales process.
  • Conduct customer research to identify opportunities for deeper engagement and account growth (cross sell, margin expansion, revenue growth).
  • Manage Salesforce data, including account updates, pipeline tracking, and reporting to support sales representatives.
  • Resolve customer issues by coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing customers and suppliers to drive satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Partner closely with sales reps, sales engineers, and store teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and coordinate partner meetings.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, sales support, or customer service, preferably in distribution or related industries.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Technical sales in the Pro AV industry a plus.
  • Experience working with a distributor-based sales model a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage diverse responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with customers and internal teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high levels of satisfaction.
