This high-impact role on the FP&A team leads end-to-end ownership of sales commission governance, policy, tooling, calculation, and insights. You’ll serve as the key liaison across Finance, Sales, HR, Operations, and Product to ensure accurate revenue assignment, timely and precise commission calculations, and clear visibility into seller performance. Leveraging strong financial acumen and a systems mindset, you’ll drive scalable automation and elevate data quality to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Work with Sales leadership to set annual sales quotas aligned with corporate revenue targets, and develop a clear understanding of commissionable vs. non-commissionable revenues
For each sales team, develop a strong understanding of accounts being managed by the team, and clarity on how they are incentivized.
Collaborate with global stakeholders to develop and update commission policies to incentivize performance, support international expansion and ensure compliance
Prepare and distribute commission letters, and maintain an archive of signed agreements
Build and maintain robust financial models incorporating revenue, FX conversions, and seller revenue allocation to ensure accurate commission calculations
Provide periodic reporting and analysis on ad spending by account, and help assess the key accounts that are growing or declining.
Validate revenue assignment by seller with Sales VPs, resolve discrepancies in a transparent manner and maintain clear documentation.
Investigate and explain commission variances with sellers, providing clear breakdowns when needed
Analyze commission data to highlight seller performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to management.
Maintain strong internal controls by ensuring audit-ready documentation, approval workflows, and segregation of duties.
Partner with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to enhance tools and data pipelines supporting revenue assignment and commission calculations.
Drive automation and scalability through standardized dashboards, templates, and processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
3+ years of professional experience in FP&A or related area
Ability to understand business drivers, build financial forecasts and communicate effectively
Superior analytical capabilities with deep understanding of how a business operates
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized

Preferred: Experience working in the CTV advertising landscape
