About the role
- Take ownership of the strategy, analytics, and operational foundation of global benefits programs.
- Build and improve reporting capabilities and develop/maintain robust reporting dashboards to track program costs, utilization, and vendor performance.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of benefits claims data, performance trends, and plan competitiveness to identify insights and opportunities.
- Leverage data-driven insights to recommend strategic adjustments to benefits programs across global locations, focusing on US and Portugal.
- Identify pain points and inefficiencies in benefits administration and drive process enhancements and automation.
- Serve as primary point of contact for benefits vendors; hold vendors accountable for performance and data accuracy.
- Own end-to-end management of data integrity across internal and external benefits portals; perform regular audits and reconciliations.
- Partner with Finance, HRIS, and Payroll to ensure accurate benefits funding, enrollment data, and financial forecasting.
- Drive timelines for key benefits projects including annual open enrollment, plan implementations, and compliance reporting.
- Prepare and facilitate vendor meetings and track action items to completion.
- Proactively track deliverables and follow up with stakeholders to ensure on-schedule execution.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration and analysis.
- Experience managing a self-funded medical plan arrangement is a strong plus.
- Workday experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Vendor management skills and ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- End-to-end process ownership and project management experience.
- Strong attention to detail, execution discipline, and problem-solving instincts.
- Strong Google Sheets/Excel proficiency.
- Exceptional communication skills, ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
