About the role
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models for revenue, expenses, headcount, and cash flow.
- Lead annual and quarterly forecasting cycles, including scenario modeling for growth initiatives.
- Analyze budget vs. actuals and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Own company-wide SaaS metric definitions (MRR, CAC, LTV, churn, NRR) and ensure consistent reporting.
- Deliver clear, data-driven insights for board and investor reporting packages.
- Partner with GTM and product leadership to connect operational performance to financial outcomes.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover drivers of growth, retention, and margin expansion.
- Present financial and operational insights to C-level executives and department leaders.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles in SaaS or high-growth tech.
- Experience at a high-growth company with significant 8 figure recurring revenue.
- Proven track record supporting at least a Series A fundraise; Series B or later experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and unit economics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and reliability.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms for pipeline analysis.
- Experience with product-led growth funnels and customer journey analytics.
