About the role
- Execute distribution planning and DER interconnection impact studies
- Conduct arc flash and coordination studies
- Client facing work with business development activities
- Collaborate with Municipal Utilities, Investor Owned Utilities, and electric system cooperatives
- Gain NESC expertise and interface with local clients
Requirements
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree is required
- 1+ years of experience in distribution studies
- Experience with Milsoft’s WindMil, DNV GL’s SynerGi, and/or Cyme’s Cymdist
- Familiarity with distribution policy and regulatory issues
- Experience with arc flash assessments
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license is preferred
- Must be a US Citizen
