About the role
- Responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing operational and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity
- Evaluate and optimize processes and technology to drive innovation, cost reduction, and operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain a systematic costing model by reconciling machine and material specifications with budgetary requirements
- Adjust costing systems to reflect changes in equipment, job methods, procurement, and logistics
- Maintain and update work measurement standards to determine staffing requirements and improve labor efficiency
- Develop and distribute productivity and efficiency reports to monitor and improve machine utilization and labor costs
- Support engineering and process quality initiatives, including preparing project proposals and participating in special projects as directed
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 0-4 years experience process optimization, cost analysis, and facility planning preferred
- Knowledge of AWS, Python, C+, Java, AppScript, VBA strongly preferred
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and cost modeling methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, production, and leadership teams to drive process improvements
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus
