Perform installation and commissioning on drive systems at customer site locations during ship construction.
Perform troubleshooting activities at site locations during scheduled Port visits or at sea to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution, and implements corrective actions.
Develop documentation to execute work such as commissioning and maintenance procedures.
Execute on-site project management and technical leader duties to resolve customer issues.
Identify sales opportunities for service agreements, spare parts, training, and upgrades.
Provide on-call support in response to customer calls for service.
Complete timely service reports and other administrative requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university
OR Associate's Degree or related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum 5 additional years of related industry experience
OR School diploma or GED equivalency with a minimum of 8 years of related industry experience
Ability and willingness to travel 85% of the time on short notice
Must be physically fit to be able to board vessels offshore
Previous Marine Industry Experience
Must be able to pass a Helicopter Underwater Egress Training (HUET) and offshore survival course
US Person with the ability to achieve security clearance for Department of Defense projects.
Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office applications.
