About the role
- Perform installation and commissioning on drive systems at customer site locations during ship construction.
- Perform troubleshooting activities at site locations during scheduled Port visits or at sea to diagnose problems and implement corrective actions.
- Develop documentation to execute work such as commissioning and maintenance procedures, and execute customer training.
- Provide on call support in response to customer calls for service.
- Complete timely service reports and other administrative requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- OR Associate's Degree with a minimum of 5 additional years of related industry experience
- OR School diploma or GED equivalency with a minimum of 8 years of related industry experience
- Ability and willingness to travel 85% of the time
