Lead day-to-day nursing operations across all programs and markets, ensuring clinical, administrative, and operational excellence
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, internal policies, SOPs, and safety standards
Design and continuously improve workflows, systems, and processes to support high-quality, efficient client care
Own workforce planning, capacity forecasting, and scheduling models to ensure sustainable staffing and utilization
Partner with Talent Acquisition on nursing-specific recruitment strategies and headcount planning
Oversee development of tools, SOPs, and resources that support efficient and effective nursing delivery at scale
Support company growth by designing scalable staffing and operational frameworks that maintain Lavender’s people-first culture
Implement, track, and report on key nursing performance metrics, including productivity, quality, compliance, and client outcomes
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data dashboards and performance monitoring, ensuring timely corrective action
Chair the Quality Improvement (QI) Committee, driving accountability for identified opportunities
Partner with nursing leaders to refine NP roles and workflows in response to evolving needs, regulations, and best practices
Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to NP Managers, ensuring strong administrative management of all Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
Serve as a trusted mentor, fostering professional growth and a culture of excellence within the nursing team
Drive continuous improvement by refining workflows, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and client outcomes
Lead initiatives that expand services into new markets, launch new service lines, and scale existing programs effectively
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational improvements with clinical and business priorities
Champion innovation and create effortless experiences for clients, NPs, and the broader Care Team
Requirements
Degree in psychiatry, nursing, or a related mental health field
3–5 years of experience in clinical practice, with at least 2 years managing nursing operations in behavioral health, psychiatry, or a related healthcare setting
Strong understanding of mental health care delivery, including measurement-informed care and clinical protocols
Proven ability to lead and motivate advanced practice nursing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Experience designing and evaluating performance metrics, with strong use of data and analytics to drive quality and operational efficiency
Expertise in staffing models, workforce planning, and recruitment strategies in healthcare
Comfort with digital tools and technology, with a track record of improving workflows through innovation
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
A strong record of change management, successfully guiding teams through growth, regulatory shifts, or organizational transformation
