About the role

  • TPAPT, a national nonprofit association of over 12,000 locally owned and operated tutoring and college advising programs, is seeking a passionate and driven Sales Development Representative to join one of our chapters.
  • In this role, you will focus on prospecting, lead generation, and the overall management of potential clients’ journeys.
  • You will engage with families interested in our supplemental educational services, helping to bridge students to success through our tutoring and college readiness programs.
  • Your contributions will significantly impact our mission and support our vision to provide individualized educational support to every student in need. If you have a desire to help students achieve their goals and have a knack for building relationships, we would love to meet you!
  • Responsibilities
  • Generate new leads through prospecting efforts
  • Engage potential students and families through various communication channels (phone, email, social media).
  • Schedule consultations to evaluate needs and promote our educational services.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-up activities within our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine lead generation strategies.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Provide feedback from prospects to help improve service offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of prior experience in sales, within the education sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 10 hours per week of availability
  • Proficiency in Hubspot, general CRM systems and Google Workspace.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve goals and exceed expectations.
