• Overseeing the associate recruiting function for the local office, supporting the Recruiting Committee in hiring summer associates as well as new associates and judicial clerks when applicable, while managing all aspects of the Summer Program, including orientation, events, programming, training, and performance management, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging experience
• Staying abreast of current and pending employment laws, market trends, and competitor recruiting policies, while supporting strategic initiatives of the firm’s management committees by developing and maintaining relationships with office leadership and recommending changes to enhance the firm's competitive edge

Associate Recruiting Manager

• Overseeing the associate recruiting function for the Brussels office
• Supporting the Recruiting Committee in hiring law clerks, trainees and lateral associates
• Managing all aspects of the Trainee and Law Clerk Program, including orientation, events, programming, training, and performance management
• Staying abreast of current and pending employment laws and market trends while supporting strategic initiatives of the firm’s management committees
• Developing and maintaining relationships with office leadership
• Organising, assigning, delegating, and coordinating staff work to manage workflow and resources effectively

Revenue Operations

• Provide subject-matter advice and support to partners, lawyers, office management and finance leadership on all billing- and revenue-related matters.
• Overall responsibility for the billing and receivables management process (Billing & Collection) for the German offices.
• Close collaboration with the global Billing and Revenue Management team to develop processes and standards, and to implement and support new software and finance system upgrades.
• Train and provide specialist support to lawyers, paralegals and business services staff regarding billing, collections and matter billing processes.
• Prepare for, support and follow up on finance and revenue reviews, and coordinate with international finance management.
• Continuously analyze and optimize revenue-related processes with the aim of sustainably improving efficiency, transparency and cash flow.
• Lead and develop the local Billing and Revenue Management team, promoting a performance-oriented, collaborative team culture.

Billing, Revenue Manager – m/f/d

Accounts Payable

• Managing and executing payments across various banks and major currencies
• Processing weekly pay runs for the firm's offices
• Handling intercompany payments, ad hoc payments, and direct debit postings
• Assisting global finance teams with bank reconciliations
• Ensuring month-end tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Exercising judgment and identifying issues that require escalation or additional care
• Reviewing workflow (or manual) approvals to determine if any additional approvals are required

• Engaging with fee earners and business services to understand how technology fits into the commercial and business context of their work, collaborating with the Director of Technology to suggest improvements in technology use and implementation
• Implementing global technology policies, procedures, and standards locally, and customizing complex applications through active consultation with users to meet local needs
• Ensuring full compliance with security, risk management, and disaster recovery policies, including data backup and personal data protection
• Managing the local delivery of end-user training and consulting to meet global standards and local requirements
• Overseeing the Service Desk operations, resolving advanced hardware, software, and network issues, and liaising with technical support from manufacturers when necessary

• Coordinating employee lifecycle processes including onboarding and orientation, departures, and transfers and providing support to the team with regard to all employee lifecycle queries
