About the role
- Managing and executing payments across various banks and major currencies
- Processing weekly pay runs for the firm's offices
- Handling intercompany payments, ad hoc payments, and direct debit postings
- Assisting global finance teams with bank reconciliations
- Ensuring month-end tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Exercising judgment and identifying issues that require escalation or additional care
- Reviewing workflow (or manual) approvals to determine if any additional approvals are required
Requirements
- Experience in processing payments across various banks, currencies and recognized systems (i.e. BASC, SEPA, Faster payments)
- Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
- Familiarity with the banking processes and exchange rates
- Similar Accounts Payable experience
- Experience with basic Accounting principles of the following countries (United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain)
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, preferably
