Supervise the inside sales team and conduct department training in accordance with company policies and procedures
Work closely with the Director of JFW Commercial Sales to ensure the team is achieving revenue and meeting profit margin goals
Coordinate with the Director of Commercial Sales and team to design and implement training software in the areas of new employee orientation, critical systems training, and advanced commercial sales training
Maintain, adjust, and improve training platform as needed to address changes and new needs
Manage the training needs of the department and take action to achieve desired results
Provide direct supervisory oversight over the Inside Sales Coordinator(s). Delegate tasks and responsibilities and hold them accountable
Oversee on-boarding new hires including training on all software systems and verification of completion
Work with Director for staffing, terminations, disciplinary actions, training, and developing subordinates
Complete performance documentation on time and ensure accuracy of timecards and approvals
Provide training and support for the Inside Sales Coordinator to help Commercial Dept run efficiently and achieve sales and gross profit goals
Assist CAMs with product selection, layout, presentation creation, quote review, lead generation and account management
Provide weekly reports to the Director of Commercial Sales detailing sales metrics, open orders, quotes, and pipeline
Communicate commission payout and referral status to retail staff monthly
Manage the CRM database and adjust data as needed for territory and staffing changes
Collaborate with IT to oversee licenses and software, ensuring efficient tools at cost-efficient methods
Monitor competitive activity and identify new competition or changes
Process check requests and accounts payable requests for commercial dept expenses
Update commercial accounts receivables weekly and publish updates; work to secure payments and clear outstanding receivables
Update and communicate price increases and provide new pricelist to appropriate supply chain personnel
Oversee incoming orders for proper sales tax exemption certificates and work to have them filed with orders
Perform other projects as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or other related subject required
Have full understanding of fitness industry trends, procedures, compliance, and regulations related to commercial fitness sale environment.
Commercial exercise equipment industry experience and sales management experience is required
3 or more years’ experience of managing and training direct reports is preferred
Proficient in Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe required
Experience with the following computer systems highly preferred: ECDesign, Nutshell CRM or similar
