About the role
- Support the end-to-end employee experience from onboarding new hires to managing employee transitions
- Plan, organize, and execute company-wide and team events (offsites, in-person and virtual events) and culture-building initiatives
- Draft and distribute internal communications such as company-wide newsletters and periodic company updates
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR systems and records
- Handle administrative HR tasks such as I-9 verification, benefits administration, and employment verification letters
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline People Operations workflows and leverage AI/tools to automate backend processes
- Empower teams by supporting the end-to-end employee lifecycle and ensuring seamless onboarding
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in HR, People Operations or related (ideally within a fast-paced startup environment)
- Excellent written and live communication skills
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Well-organized; able to support multiple projects and teams
- Thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Resourceful, creative, and takes initiative
- Mature and professional; able to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience with HR systems and maintaining data accuracy and integrity
- Experience or ability to perform I-9 verification, benefits administration, and employment verification letters
- Experience planning, organizing, and executing company-wide and team events (offsites, in-person and virtual events)
- Ability to draft and distribute internal communications such as company-wide newsletters and updates
- Ability to proactively identify and implement process optimizations using AI and other tools
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada (application asks); visa sponsorship status disclosure required
