About the role

  • Clinically sell to maximize the da Vinci® Surgical System’s utilization in the St Louis, MO territory
  • Work with the Clinical Sales Manager to develop a sales strategy to drive robot utilization
  • Manage surgical teams through training sessions, OR integration and da Vinci Surgery applications
  • Serve as a da Vinci Surgery resource across primary surgical specialties
  • Support regional Sales and Marketing events to create system awareness and procedure adoption
  • Develop a da Vinci Surgery plan for each surgical team to ensure unsupervised system use
  • Drive continuous expansion of the user base by working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Drive the sales of instruments and accessories
  • Responsibly manage administrative tasks such as sales activities and expense report submission

Requirements

  • Must live within or be willing to relocate to the St Louis, MO Area
  • Minimum of 2 years outside sales experience (medical device preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Proven record of success (preferred)
  • Ambition and exceptional work ethic (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and persuasive communication skills (preferred)
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team (preferred)
  • May need to provide proof of vaccination against certain diseases as required by Intuitive and/or customers
