About the role
- Develop and strengthen a sustainable relationship with assigned territory in Travel Leaders Network
- Take proactive action via customer visits to accounts as well as strategic plans for growth and success
- Travel to member agencies, local/regional sponsored events and industry sponsored events
- Present and assist in the understanding of member benefits from marketing programs to technology in addition to other offerings - focused on programs with highest ROI for TLN
- Communicate member requirements and request support from other departments as necessary to assist in achieving goals
- Recommend areas of further growth potential and support members in reaching those goals
- Evaluate territory performance against established objectives/guidelines
- Provide timely reporting of activities via Salesforce.com
- Conduct minimum of 60 contacts per week (in person and via phone calls)
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or minimum of 5 years of sales or marketing experience
- Travel up to 35% of the time
- Must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Must have proven track record of account management and retention
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines working from home and while traveling
- Goal oriented and action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined
- Conducts minimum of 60 contacts per week (in person and via phone calls)
- Provides timely reporting of activities via Salesforce.com
