About the role
- Support core HR functions including onboarding, employee relations, data analysis, and HR operations
- Partner with HR leadership and business managers on employee engagement, performance management, and compliance initiatives
- Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure a welcoming experience for new employees
- Assist with employee relations by preparing documentation, tracking issues, and supporting resolution processes
- Manage and analyze HR data using Excel and HR systems; create reports to support decision-making and process improvements
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR processes are compliant, consistent, and efficient
- Contribute to development and refinement of HR programs, processes, and policies
- Serve as a resource for employees and managers on day-to-day HR topics
- Stay informed on HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2-4 years of Human Resources experience (minimum 24 months)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization, etc.)
- Experience or exposure to employee relations and handling sensitive information with professionalism
- Previous involvement in onboarding or new hire orientation processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across all levels
- Proactive, growth-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn
- Familiarity with HR systems and tools (HRIS) is a plus
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
- Must be prepared to pass a drug test and a post-offer background check
