  • People & Culture team owns employee experience, talent development, engagement, performance management, and policies for a remote-first organization
  • Design, deliver, and measure strategies fostering an inclusive, engaging workplace across engagement, L&D, and internal communications
  • Develop and execute employee engagement programs, recognition, milestone celebrations, and team-building initiatives
  • Own employee survey strategy: design/deploy surveys, analyze data, report insights, and partner with leaders on actions
  • Partner with P&C and leaders to identify trends and strengthen culture, retention, and satisfaction
  • Define and implement L&D strategy; conduct training needs assessments and design scalable learning programs (onboarding, manager development, role-based journeys)
  • Track and iterate on L&D using engagement metrics and performance outcomes; manage external learning platforms
  • Develop and deliver clear, inclusive internal communications; write and publish updates, newsletters, policy changes, and toolkits
  • Support change management with consistent, compassionate communication and build communications calendars aligned with organizational milestones
  • Success metrics include launching an organization-wide survey, delivering at least two org-wide engagement initiatives, launching L&D programs, and measurable improvements in engagement

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in employee engagement, L&D, or internal communications roles
  • Demonstrated success designing and executing scalable employee engagement programs and/or learning initiatives from concept to execution to measurement
  • Strong project management and program design skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and anticipate future workforce needs
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and storytelling skills; adept at building trust, influencing, and working cross-functionally
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using employee data, surveys, or engagement metrics to drive change
  • Proven ability to integrate equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility principles into workplace programs and culture
  • Professional certifications in HR, OD, L&D (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, ATD CPLP, Prosci) — desirable
  • Experience with learning platforms (LMS, digital learning tools) and survey tools — desirable
  • Experience scaling culture/engagement programs in a distributed organization — desirable
