Infleqtion is seeking a proactive and highly organized Facilities and Safety Manager to oversee daily operations and long-term planning of facilities and lead safety and compliance programs.
Oversee daily building operations, maintenance, and repair of all facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities, security, and access control platforms.
Coordinate and supervise external contractors and vendors for facility-related projects, services, and routine/preventative and emergency maintenance programs.
Plan and manage facility expansions, renovations, and reconfigurations, working closely with production and engineering teams.
Ensure facilities meet applicable building codes, environmental regulations, and local ordinances.
Manage facility budgets, track expenses, and forecast operational needs.
Prioritize, track, and resolve Facilities related support tickets in management portals.
Develop, implement, and enforce workplace health, safety, and emergency response programs.
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and drills to ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
Serve as primary point of contact for workplace safety initiatives and regulatory compliance.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure proper reporting of safety incidents and near misses.
Develop and deliver safety training programs including first aid and CPR, fire safety, hazardous materials handling, and emergency action plans.
Maintain accurate safety records including training logs, inspection reports, and incident documentation.
Promote a strong safety culture and encourage employee involvement and continuous improvement.
Negotiate, manage, and monitor contracts with facility service providers including maintenance, cleaning, security, and construction vendors.
Foster relationships with landlords, property managers, and external partners.
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, and Operations to support business continuity and employee needs.
This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws (EAR and ITAR); offer may be conditioned on authorization to receive controlled software/technology without sponsorship for an export license.
Work performed in office and lab environment around technical equipment including computers and lasers; able to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 40 pounds; efficient use of office equipment; PPE provided and required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of relevant experience in facilities management, operations, or construction project management.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and compliance requirements.
Proven track record of managing vendors, contractors, and large-scale facility projects.
Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with CMMS and/or EHS software (preferred).
Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), or OSHA certifications preferred.
