About the role

  • Prospect and convert qualified leads from INDEVCO North American Marketing Team
  • Input activities, leads, contacts and opportunities into the CRM system
  • Forecasting, reporting and competitor profiling
  • Proactively identify and obtain business opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Cold-call potential customers for industrial and consumer packaging (poly coated, laminated, aqueous laminated/coated sheeted products)
  • Visit B2B manufacturing operations to present product offerings and value-added solutions
  • Work with R&D and Management to identify and design customer-based solutions
  • Use market and customer research to build product value propositions specific to customer and industry
  • Share market knowledge with SC&L team and monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors
  • Understand, assess, and communicate technical product attributes and company capabilities
  • Complete full sales cycle and manage customer relationships, complaints, and service improvements
  • Liaise with Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations to improve customer experience
  • Prepare proposals, forecast territory bookings, provide plant tours, and follow up via phone, written materials and email

Requirements

  • 5+ years sales experience, or 2+ years of specific sales experience in laminated and coated Industrial/Consumer Packaging
  • Familiarity and understanding of folding carton, industrial packaging, steel and roll packaging for coated and laminated products
  • Must have a firm understanding of CRM systems
