About the role
- Lead kickoff meetings with Hiring Managers to develop requisitions, understand recruiting needs and discuss headcount
- Create and execute long-term strategies to source candidates and build talent pipelines for current and future needs
- Actively source and engage candidates using innovative techniques
- Leverage referrals, leads, emerging technology, external recruiting partners and networking events to build brand and talent pipeline
- Screen candidates and articulate the Hermeus mission, culture, trajectory, and company benefits
- Coordinate interviews and guide candidates through the process providing exceptional candidate experience
- Maintain and ensure accurate records in Lever (ATS)
- Assist teammates in all endeavors to establish Hermeus as an industry leader
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of recruiting experience for highly technical roles
- Previous time recruiting in the aerospace / defense / space sectors
- Strong competitive market awareness in aerospace/defense/space sectors
- Experience with sourcing tools (not just LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Experience with Lever (ATS) is strongly preferred
- Ability to recruit world-class engineers and provide best-in-class candidate experience
- Ability to build strong relationships with extremely passive candidates
- Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing (per 22 C.F.R. § 120.62)
