About the role

  • Winning, retaining, and developing high street dental business accounts
  • Focusing on retaining and growing accounts and increasing share of wallet for merchandise and equipment
  • Creating opportunities for customers to benefit from OneSchein products and generating qualified leads for OneSchein partners
  • Prospecting and new account acquisition of large and medium accounts with low/no current spend
  • Developing understanding of OneSchein businesses and working consultatively with customers
  • Managing pricing and profitability of accounts and using quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities
  • Developing and implementing account plans and establishing professional relationships with key personnel
  • Working closely with OneSchein business partners and A Brand supplier representatives to deliver solutions
  • Understanding and managing customer contractual agreements and financial arrangements
  • Scheduling and conducting customer meetings with agendas, actions and minutes, and coordinating stakeholders
  • Identifying and teaching business insights to help customers grow and coordinating OneSchein partners
  • Assisting Business Development Consultants and supporting DSO and Public sector KAMs as needed
  • Weekly and monthly reporting and performing business administration using company systems and processes

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A customer-centric, collaborative, and consultative approach to selling
  • Good analytical skills and business administration with good competency levels in Excel and Microsoft 365
  • Experience of new business development and account management
  • Able to communicate and present business strategies and ideas confidently
  • Able to understand and discuss P&L statements
  • Preferable experience with the Challenger sales methodology
  • Experience in the dental industry is desirable but not essential
