About the role
- Drive total sales and service growth and nurture a vibrant sales culture aligned with Office Depot 5C values
- Partner with the management team to drive memorable customer experiences and execute Office Depot selling techniques and sales training
- Foster a sales-focused environment through training and development of associates and act as role model for customer service and product expertise
- Process merchandise accurately and efficiently; maintain visual merchandising standards; manage freight and logistics activities
- Identify areas for process improvement to reduce waste and inefficiencies and contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction initiatives
- Provide guidance, direction, ongoing training, coaching, feedback and assessment of store associates, including Print Services associates
- Facilitate training sessions on the business model and holistic service offering for clients/customers
- Serve as External Key Carrier: maintain safety and security, perform opening and closing responsibilities, manage alarm system, handle cash and daily store balancing, ensure loss prevention compliance
- Engage with the local community and foster a positive culture focused on customer satisfaction
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelors preferred
- Business, Marketing, Retail, or related fields
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related field
- Retail, sales, customer-facing, and/or supervisory experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology to access necessary information
- Experience with Logistics and Freight
- Advanced selling skills
