Market Manager

Channel Manager

• The On and Off Premise Market Manager position will be responsible for the execution of company on-and off- premise strategic initiatives in the Greater San Diego and Inland Empire markets.
• Execute at the field level in on- and off- premise accounts and will require the ability to evaluate, implement and execute programs within our brand strategies.
• Lead, direct, train and manage local distributor sales teams.
• Ensure adherence to our brand policies, distribution objectives are achieved, and promotional activity is taking place.
• Develop strong working relationships with key on-and off- premise accounts within assigned area.
• Align with key local events and participate where the opportunity fits our strategy, including execution of national initiatives in your local market.

• Manage and engage distributor Area Managers and Sales Consultants daily to ensure distribution objectives, brand policies, and promotional standards are achieved.
• Maintain a strong presence at distributor offices to ensure consistent communication and focus on Heaven Hill priorities.
• Training distributor sales teams, observing competitive market activity, and evaluating distributor execution against our initiatives.
• Support the District Manager in executing statewide initiatives and contributing to the overall Florida on-premise strategy.
• Act as the Southwest Florida On-Premise Consultant, providing strategic support and guidance to the Heaven Hill Southwest Florida Market Manager on key on-premise initiatives and account opportunities.
• Engage with key on-premise accounts within the assigned territory to foster strong partnerships and drive business growth.
• Present and leverage our brands for increased volume and assist distributor in attaining our goals and objectives.
• Be visible at the distributor office, meeting with sales representatives and management to ensure share of mind.
• Identify and align with key local events and sponsorship opportunities that fit brand strategy, ensuring excellence in execution for all national and regional initiatives.
• Act as primary contact for distributor sales teams to ensure they are informed of local and national objectives and programs, while providing support for all sales-related activities.
• Execute engaging product training sessions and brand seminars with on-premise accounts and distributor sales teams to strengthen product knowledge and advocacy.
• Use POS tools and marketing / point-of-sale materials to support brand presence in bars and restaurants.
• Assist accounts with menu and cocktail development to feature Heaven Hill brands and support overall beverage program success, leveraging cocktail features where appropriate.
• Provide National Account Mandate compliance updates as they are required.
• Stay informed of customer and consumer trends.
• Maintain a calendar of activities and promotions, ensuring distributor and third-party agencies have successful communications.
• Submit monthly activity reports summarizing accomplishments, market insights, competitive updates, and program execution to the District Manager.
• Provide market and competitive brand updates to the District Manager, including timely and accurate communication of changing field conditions that may affect volumes, as well as staffing changes at distributor and competitors.
• Review and track execution progress with distributor Area Managers.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on program effectiveness, including POS, activation materials, and promotional ROI.
• Special projects such as verifying pricing and or distribution at on-premise accounts.

Channel Manager – On Premise

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Empire Merchants distributors (Upstate and Metro) to achieve agreed-upon distribution and sales objectives.
• Partner with the New York Regional Manager to identify high-impact strategies and prioritize efforts aligned with organizational goals.
• Serve as the primary contact for distributor sales teams, (Upstate and Metro) ensuring clear communication of local and national objectives, programs, and sales initiatives.
• Maintain accurate pricing structures and collaborate with FP&A to update PSM.
• Manage purchase orders, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and communicate consistently with operations partners.
• Submit invoices on time to maintain accurate accounts receivable records and complete bill-backs in TPM.
• Collaborate with distributor partners to develop programming that supports KPI achievement.
• Educate distributor sales teams, including GSMs, on brand priorities, education, programs, and execution expectations. Also, educate Heaven Hill sales team on key programs, and execution expectations.
• Maintain a strong presence in distributor offices and regularly meet with sales representatives and management to drive alignment with Heaven Hill Brands’ goals, including leading quarterly business reviews and assist with Top-to-Top Meetings between Heaven Hill and Empire Merchants.
• Conduct in-market workdays independently and alongside distributor sales team.
• Ensure timely execution of National Account mandates and pricing requests.
• Lead new product launches to achieve volume and distribution targets.
• Review program performance and execution updates with distributor management.
• Maintain accurate records of distributor profiles, organizational structures, and competitive brand alignments.
• Manage personal T&E expenses and local SAB and LMF budgets responsibly.
• Stay current on customer, consumer and competitive trends.
• Maintain knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations, and policies affecting the market, and keep management informed of relevant changes.
