Operate as a freelance ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter/translator as a 1099 Independent Contractor
Set your availability and accept appointments based on your schedule
Provide ASL interpretation to bridge communication for clients regardless of English proficiency
Accept assignments offered based on need; appointments available Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
Complete skills assessment, background check, and onboarding to join the linguist network
Work in different settings and adapt to various work environments
Interpreters' rates vary depending on availability, experience, and demand
Requirements
Exhibit proficiency in ASL (American Sign Language)
Be willing to complete ASL (American Sign Language) assessment by as Certified ASL Professional (exceptions can be made with proven work history and certifications)
Complete all required documents in a timely manner
Flexibility to work in different settings and adapt to various work environments
Must be located in and authorized to work in the US (We do not offer visa sponsorship)
